-Scientific Drawings-
I'd have to say that the most helpful project was the scientific drawings. We learned so much about focusing on different areas of the object to add exact details to it. I feel like this piece was successful for me as I am not normally the type that draws a lot of realism. Drawing and coloring to make the flower realistic took quite a bit of time, but I feel that it turned out close to what the actual flower looked like. I think that perhaps I might use bolder colors if I were to do it over again, and maybe take a little more time to draw out the rest of the picture.

-Still Life (W.I.P.)-
Hands down, my favorite project so far is the still life drawings, even though they aren't completed yet. We learned a lot of shading techniques, which made the once seemingly daunting task of realistic drawing somewhat less monstrous. We also focused on drawing with pen, pencil, and charcoal (which is really mess but really cool do draw with). I'm feeling really proud and confident with this recent little shoe series I'm doing for still life, and I feel like it's the best work I've done so far regarding realism & observing. I think, though, that if I had to do this part all over again, I would definitely change the angle at which I drew the shoe--it's really boring right now.

-Perspective-
This was a REALLY fun unit to do. Personally, I feel that drawing at different angles helps to expand my drawing abilities and attention to detail. We focused on one, two, and three point perspectives. Compared to my old perspective drawings, the one I did more recently turned out very nice since I learned a few tricks to make drawing perspective a lot easier. But even then, I know I could on a lot more realistic details and making things a bit more even.
